Spring Competition Schedule Opens Up With The Farms Collegiate Inviational Feb. 11-12 at The Farms Golf Club

After a long break the first week of practice is in the books and its been great to have the team back together again. We are just a week away from our first event which will be a home event for us at The Farms Golf Club in Rancho Santa Fe.  We will be hosting 11 visiting teams for The Farms Collegiate Invitational. The field will consist of UCSB, LMU, Santa Clara, UC Irvine, Western Illinois, Fresno St., Missouri, Pacific, USF, UC Riverside and Saint Mary's.

The Farms Collegiate Invitational will take place on Mon and Tues Feb 11-12th. 54 holes will be played over 2 days. Monday teams will shotgun start at 830am and play 36 holes. Tuesday tee times will go from 8am-945am for the final round.  

This event is open to the public and we encourage all of you to come out and support Torero Golf!!

Clark Corbett Named New USD Golf Assistant Coach

I am pleased to announce that Clark Corbett will be our new assistant coach.  Clark is from Long Beach, CA where he was part of the 1999 State Championship team at Long Beach City College and was also the 2000 Long Beach Men's City Champion. Clark then moved on to play college golf at UNLV where he was named to the First Team All Mountain West and was part of the 2002 Mountain West Conference championship team. Clark graduated UNLV with a degree in Liberal Arts. Clark then spent 8 years playing on various mini tours including the Asian Tour and he was a fully exempt member of the Canadian Tour in 2003. I am excited to have Clark as part of our coaching staff and I know that the knowlege he will bring to the team from his experience as a top collegiate player and professional golfer will be an asset to the program.  

**Former assistant coach Joe Prince accepted a position as assitant coach at ASU in December.

May 28-June 2- NCAA National Championships- Capital City Club- Alphretta, GA
