Welcome back to school Toreros!
We’re gearing up for an awesome year here at USD. The incoming class has arrived on campus and classes started August 31st. Our returners (as well as our incoming guys) went out across the country to have productive summer ball seasons. From Cape Cod, Danville, IL, Vermont, North Carolina, Wisconsin, New York, and Washington, our guys represented the USD family well! We are excited about the group as whole, and particularly about our seniors. Great leadership with returners like Paul Sewald (2012 team captain) usually bodes well. Our schedule will be extremely demanding as always. Road series with Vanderbilt (2011 CWS team) and home games against the likes of Oregon State, Kansas State, and Indiana provide a great gauge for the WCC slate.
